Pauline Shaw is a Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She became involved in the specialneeds community after the birth of her daughter Dakota, who has multiple diagnosis’.She is Founder & President of the Effingham County Navigator Team – Support Groupand Recreational Program for Children with Special Needs. In 2013 she graduatedfrom AADD’s Partners in Policymaking Advocacy Training. Pauline has participated inmany advocacy campaign’s, most recently the passage of Ava’s Law – Autism InsuranceReform and Haleigh’s Hope – Legalization of Medical Cannibis Oil. She is very excited tonot only be working as the Family Support Coordinator but to also be a part of theB & B Family and helping those we serve in any way possible. She started working for B&B Care Services in March 2015 as an MFP Transition Coordinator for the CoastalRegion, began as the Family Support Coordinator in July 2015, and is now theSpecial Projects Manager and will be in charge of Supported Employment. Paulinebecame a Certified Mandt System Instructor in December 2015 and completedtraining in Social Roles Valorization in August 2017.
Heather is a person of many titles including: wife, mother, Program Manager, and friend. Heather has worked in many departments since joining B&B Care Services in 2018. Heather brings extensive experience in the fields of DD, Autism, Aging and has true compassion for all. Heather is known for her passion for advocating for persons with disabilities in the Supported Employment Program and her volunteer position as a mentor for the Effingham County Navigator Team’s Young Adult Program. Heather brings her Bachelor of Science degree into the workplace by always coming up with new ways to present resumes from our program to employers. Heather’s coworkers describe her as caring, fierce, organized, a leader, patient and a joy to be around. B&B is so thankful to have Heather on our team.
